New Wayne Trace FFA Officers Elected

Wayne Trace High School held their annual FFA banquet on Sunday April 3, 2022. Current FFA positions were held by President Faith Meraz, Vice President Tianna Cooper, Treasurer Ethan Noggle, Secretary Olivia Meraz, Reporter KatieAnna Baumle, Historian Allison Schilt, Student Advisor Adrian Laukhuf, Sentinel Zach Wobler, and Chaplain Nathaniel Osborn. Cassie Mavis graciously accepted the role of guest speaker, in which she gave a valuable speech for all to hear. CDE participants, top fundraiser salesmen, FFA week livestock judging, ag ball recognition, outstanding scholarship recognition, honorary member award, chapter star green hand award, chapter star in ag placement award, chapter star farmer, Dekalb ag accomplishment award, 110% award, and green hand recognition were all awards. Congratulations to all members who received these awards and those who were recognized. New officers and their positions include President Olivia Meraz, Vice President Zach Wobler, Reporter Emma Elkins, Secretary Anna Meraz, Student Advisor Dyson Scott, Sentinel Blake Schultz, and Treasurer Trent Thornell. The new officer’s goals include participating in more CDE’s, educating younger grades about FFA, as well as informing the community about Wayne Trace FFA’s goals and accomplishments.
