New Addiction Prevention & Recovery Coalition Forming in Paulding County Special Public Meeting

There is a newly formed coalition in Paulding County called Citizens of Paulding for Recovery and Prevention (C.P.R.). Their goal is to help prevent life-controlling issues (ie. addictions), assist with recovery those who have life-controlling issues, and help those innocently suffering consequences due to others’ life-controlling issues.

C.P.R. is holding a public meeting on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Paulding County Extension building, 503 Fairground Drive, Paulding, OH 45879.

The focus of the meeting will be brought by Rev. Daniel Schreck of Connection Points Ministry in Fort Wayne, IN. He will present information to the community of what it takes to launch and maintain a Living Free Community ministry in Paulding County. Dr. Schreck has been in the ministry for over 35 years. He has his PhD in Christian Counseling, a Masters Degree in Theology, a Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Studies, a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management and Human Development and is a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor.

This Living Free Community Ministry has been selected to be developed in Paulding County for a variety of reasons. It is faith-based, and deals with not only addictions but the underlying causes or origin of the addiction. Living Free will be used primarily for treatment, but is useful for prevention as well.

Mark you calendars to come to the public meeting on Wednesday, November 14th to the extension building at 6:30 p.m.
