At Friday night’s matchup of the last game Woodlan will play against Leo in a conference match, it decided to rain and turn cold. The wind never seemed to stop on the Etzler Field. The guests scored the first touchdown in this low scoring match with Kray Klopfenstein completing a pass to Gunner Brown for a 32 yard touchdown. The Warriors answered back with a 3 point field goal by Quentin Graber. The half finished at 7-3 in favor of the Lions.

The second half Woodlan couldn’t get the ball in the goal and Leo took over on downs. Leo’s Jordan Hissong attempted to run and fumbled the ball on the tackle with Herm Rorick picking up the loose ball and running 6 yards for the Warrior touchdown. The point after kick was not good by Quentin Graber.

The fourth went back and forth but neither added any points. Woodlan lost it’s chance with less than a minute left in the game, Woodlan handed the ball to Jacob Fergguson, who is tackled, The ball is tossed back and caught by Chase Walters of Leo, ending the game.
