Board of DD Receives $2,000 Community Fund Grant

The Defiance Area Foundation has awarded a $2,000 grant to the Defiance County Board of Developmental Disabilities during its 2026 Spring Grant Cycle. Funding for the grant was provided through the Defiance Area Foundation Community Fund.

The grant will be used to enhance therapy services, staff training, community engagement opportunities, and educational programming through the purchase of art, sensory, and learning resources. These resources will support individuals served by the Board of DD and help create meaningful opportunities for learning, personal growth, and community involvement.

The Defiance Area Foundation’s Community Fund supports projects and programs that address current and emerging needs throughout Defiance County, helping strengthen the quality of life for local residents.
