Birdee’s Sugar Shack Announces Grand Opening in Charloe

Birdee’s Sugar Shack, formerly Charloe Sno-Cone, is excited to announce its establishment in Paulding County under the ownership of Jeff and Nickie Chapman. Located at 10768 Rd 171 in Paulding, Ohio, the business officially launches on July 22, 2026, with a Grand Opening and ribbon-cutting celebration scheduled for July 31 at 11:00 a.m.

Named after their granddaughter Alayna, affectionately known as “Birdee”, the Chapmans are eager to serve the community with a refreshed menu featuring homemade burgers made with meat from Jacob’s Meats, smoked pulled pork, BLTs, smoked fried bologna sandwiches, hand‑cut fries, homemade macaroni and cheese, homemade potato salad, and a variety of additional homemade entrées and treats. Birdee’s Sugar Shack will also offer bulk sweet corn from Grammy & Grampy’s Sweet Corn.

The new owners plan to bring enthusiasm, hometown pride, and a commitment to serving high‑quality, homemade food to Paulding County and surrounding communities.  Visiting the business may be via vehicle drive up access from County Roads 171 or 138 or docking a boat on the Auglaize River.
