Growth Fitness is opening it’s second Paulding County location in the Village of Oakwood this Spring. Owned and operated by Paulding County businessman Kass Chesnut, Growth Fitness offers a wide variety of fitness equipment for men and women and currently is open and operating in the Chief Shopping Center in Paulding. Among other amenities, Growth Fitness members have access to free high speed internet access.
“Our Growth Fitness operation in Paulding has been very successful and we anticipate having the same success in Oakwood,” said Mr. Chesnut. “We’ll be opening in the old Oakwood Hardware and Lumberyard in the heart of the Village.”
Oakwood Growth Fitness will open and accepting members this Spring.
Members can access the gym day or night using a convenient cellphone app.
“Growth Fitness will occupy about a third of the available space in the building. We are developing plans to bring other new businesses into the remaining space,” Chesnut added. Chesnut recently acquired the building from Auglaize Spirits and Coffee, LLC.
“We are thrilled to have a young entrepreneur like Kass investing in the Village of Oakwood,” states Oakwood Mayor Josh Duslak. “Our hope is that Growth Fitness attracts complimentary businesses to our downtown area, such as a specialty coffee shop with fresh baked goods or a smoothie and ice cream parlor.”
