6. Cattle, (animals) and  man

7. God rested

8. God created woman

The weeks fly by. But this one was special. The first day God created energy, which includes light, heat, and many other things. Nothing is accomplished without energy. He started out with nothing. At absolute zero (-273 Fahrenheit) there is complete darkness and no motion at all.

There is a progression of six areas that were created. Man was the last thing he created that first week and on the 7th day he rested. Creation was complete, almost. He wasn’t done. King James says that God blessed and sanctified the 7th Day.

God had overlooked one thing. He had created two different sexes, for companionship, and to ensure procreation, ,for the animals. Man was lonesome, he needed companionship, so God created woman. It seems like a discrepancy in the Bible. In verse 1:27 the King James says God created man, male and female created he them. But now I read this as referring to the animals. The animals had mates.

God placed Adam in a garden, and told him to cultivate it. Then he realized that man was lonesome, and needed a companion. God  created man from the dust of the Earth, (and to dust he shall return.) But He created woman from a bone of the man. The rest is a story you well know.

God gave Adam and Eve free reign of the garden, except there was one tree that they should not eat of it’s fruit. The serpent came and began dissecting what God had said. “Did God really say that?” They ate and sin was introduced into the world.

The source of all our problems, and everything bad is sin. All sickness and blemishes, and even the weeds. I enjoy gardening, and have battled weeds my entire life. There was one year which I thought I got ahead of them. This year I was sick in April and the weeds again got ahead of me.

Judge Judy says that which does not make sense is not true. The creation makes total sense to me. As I sit here today, I had to come from somewhere. The fact that there was a being that was here from eternity, is the only thing that seems reasonable. We have a hole that only God can fill and satisfy, even though we try to fill it with other things.

Again I am not a scholar. I can only read, and I don’t claim to be smart. I have experienced the satisfaction of inviting Jesus into my heart. A I write this morning, on a beautiful July morning, I hear a bird singing. He is announcing his existence to the world. All I know is that the bird and I both got here somehow. A supreme being that always existed, makes more sense than any other explanation I ever. I don’t know if there are any other explanations offered except perhaps a bang theory and that doesn’t express where material started in the first place.
