LifeWise Academy in Paulding, Ohio will be expanding by offering classes to Paulding Exempted Village School students in grades 6-8. Students will travel from the Paulding Junior High to the Paulding United Methodist Church where they will receive Bible-based character education. LifeWise Academy already serves students at Paulding Exempted Village Schools in grades K-5.
“Thanks to our supportive community, we are expanding LifeWise classes to students in grades 6-8,” said Traci Koenig, LifeWise Paulding Exempted Director. “This expansion came sooner than planned because of the desire of the fifth-grade students to continue in LifeWise as they move into the Junior High and the willingness of the Paulding Exempted Village Schools Administration.”

LifeWise lessons are part of the school’s Academy Assistance time, and are provided on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week throughout the school year.
Students learn the Bible chronologically as part of the curriculum. Each lesson relates a Bible passage to a relevant character trait that the students are encouraged to practice in their families and communities.
LifeWise Academy comes alongside administrators and teachers as a supportive ally in the fight for better character development, mental health and academic achievement.
LifeWise Academy is based in Hilliard, Ohio and is a Released Time Religious Instruction (RTRI) program that provides Bible-based character education to public school students. With parental permission, students are released from school during the day to attend classes that are off school property for forty minutes to one hour per week.
