Antwerp Police Department Reports

On June 2, a child custody issue was reported to the Antwerp Police Department. The parties involved were told to contact their attorneys.

June 3, a resident of Shaffer Rd. reported people were parking in her yard. Officer responded and the vehicles had been moved.

On June 3, a suspicious person was reported walking around Leinard Mobile Home Park. The individual was located and deemed not to be suspicious, just drunk.

On June 3, a funeral escort was provided.

On June 4, a resident that was at a family gathering called and said that a water pipe in the women’s bathroom had broken accidentally. A report was prepared and the village administrator contacted. 

On June 4, a resident of E River St. reported that there was a trailer of junk, no plate and flat tire, parked on River St across from his residence. An officer responded,  observed the mess and towed trailer.

On June 5, a resident of High St. reported a neighborhood dispute between him and the neighbor. Officer responded and spoke with everyone involved.

On June 5, a resident of the county came to the Antwerp Police Department and said they were trying to go Hicksville hospital; however, didn’t feel well enough to continue. EMS was contacted and transported the individual.

On June 7, a water main break was reported to the police department on W. Canal and Cleveland. The department contacted the village administrator.

On June 9, a downtown business requested that a vehicle be unlocked. Officer responded and unlocked the vehicle. 

On June 9, a resident of River St. reported that she had a case of identity theft and that accounts at a bank were being opened in her name.

On June 10, Antwerp Police Department was notified that there was an individual living on Archer Dr. that had a warrant. Officer went to the location and was told the individual moved several months ago.

On June 10, a resident of Madison St. contacted the police department and said that his cousin had just driven by his house and stated that his cousin gives him creeps. He requested extra patrol in the area.

On June 10, an officer saw there was a street sign down on Canal and Erie. The officer contacted the village administrator.

On June 11, Antwerp Police Department received a call that there was 911 hang up at a resident on W River St. Officer went to the address given and everything was okay.

On June 11, a resident of River St. requested assistance with catching his dog. Officer responded and assisted the individual.
