Lonnie Lee Bostelman

 ANTWERP, OH:

Lonnie Lee Bostelman, 79, of Antwerp, passed away at home on Thursday, June 16, 2022.

Lonnie was born in Holgate on May 14, 1943, a son of the late Helen Catherine (Armbruster) and Harry George Bostelman.

He graduated from Holgate High School and then received his B.S. and Masters from BGSU. Lonnie taught and coached basketball at Antwerp High School. He went on to be assistant principal for Paulding High School for 25 years. Lonnie served on the Paulding County Carnegie Library board for 19 years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church.  You could always count on Lonnie to cheer for his family at their sporting events and for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Lonnie loved to fish, especially at Fletcher’s Pond in Michigan, where his family vacationed almost every year.

Lonnie will be sadly missed by his wife, Linda  (Kreighbaum) Bostelman, to whom he was married on his birthday, May 14, 1977; children, Terrance Graven, Lonnette (Stacie) Bostelman-Holley, Catherina (Zach) Richards, Shawn (Cindy) Brewer & Jennifer (Ryan) Anderson; sisters, Mary Ann Hetrick & Connie (Rick) Musshel; grandchildren, Luke, Lydia & Landon Brewer, Zane & Ethan Richards and Corinne, Easton & Jack Anderson.

Viewing is Wednesday, June 22nd,  4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp.

His funeral service is on Thursday, June 23rd, 10:00 am, with viewing, 9:00 am – 9:45 am at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 3497 County Rd 424, Antwerp.

He will be laid to rest at Saint John Lutheran Cemetery, Holgate.
