In a game that didn’t see an earned run by either team, Paulding picked up a 2-1 non-league victory over Ottoville Monday night in high school baseball action.

With the game tied at 1-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Nick Manz reached on a Big Green error with one out in the bottom of the fifth and the Panthers would take advantage.

After Manz stole second, a Peyton Adams ground out moved Manz to third. With Sam Woods at the plate, Manz sprinted home for the second Panther run on a Big Green passed ball.

From there, Reid Johanns shut the door for Paulding in tossing a complete game scattering five hits while striking out seven Ottoville hitters.
