The Woodburn Lions Club held its annual Valentine’s Day banquet on the evening of Monday, February 8 at the Woodburn Community Center. A fascinating and informative special program was presented by Pastor Bob Hermann of the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission. Pastor Bob told about the Rescue Mission’s beautiful new building and the work that the Mission does. The Woodburn Lions Club makes an annual donation to the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission.
Dinner, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all, was provided by Grant’s Catering of Antwerp. The Woodburn Lions look forward to another year of serving the community and urge everyone to watch for the next opportunity to buy some “world famous” Lions Club donuts!
