Servant Heart Award Winners

Owen Young – Miss Sullivan’s 1st Grade Class

Owen Young has a heart like Jesus’. Owen doesn’t give up when things get hard. He knows that things may get frustrating, but that doesn’t have to ruin your day. When he encounters a challenge that upsets him, he asks for help and works through it. Owen works hard at school and maintains a positive attitude. He is very kind and caring to everyone around. Thank you Owen for showing us how to live like Jesus!

Thayer Zartman – Miss Sullivan’s 2nd Grade Class

Thayer Zartman has been showing us how to have a servant’s heart. Thayer is friendly to everyone in his classroom and regularly prays for his friends and others. Thayer is doing an amazing job being responsible for himself and his belongings. He is taking responsibility for his actions and learning that he is in charge of his daily choices. Keep up the wonderful work, Thayer!

Peyton Sennebogen – Mrs. Bradbury’s 5th Grade Class

Peyton Sennebogen has a servant’s heart.  She helps students with their work, volunteers for tasks no one else wants to do, includes others who would otherwise be left out, holds the door open for our class, and is always kind and polite.  Peyton gave up part of her recess time to help me organize the PE equipment in the gym and she put books in order in the classroom for me.  Every time she is given a task, she does it to the best of her ability and with a positive attitude.  Peyton’s actions do not go unnoticed by her peers.  One of her classmates approached me last week to say that she believed Peyton deserves this award.  Peyton is a wonderful example for our entire school and I am very proud of her.
