POPCORN WITH A PURPOSE

Oakwood Kindergarten recently embarked on a new adventure. Our little students have big hearts! They worked with their teachers and volunteers to hold a popcorn sale at Oakwood Elementary. For our first popcorn sale we sold 330 bags of popcorn and raised just over $308. The money was used to adopt Anwen, a koala that was injured in the wildfires that happened in Australia. They also had enough money to help plant 28 new food trees. You can find more information about our adopted koala and how you can help at: https://shop.koalahospital.org.au/

We plan to continue our fundraising efforts and make a difference near and far as we raise money to help others.
