The Archer competition squad began practicing in June 2019 and competed for the first time in August. The squad was 2nd place at Defiance County Fair, 3rd place at Van Wert County Fair, and 1st place at the Ayersville cheer leading competition. The Archers competed at the regional cheer leading competition on Sunday, February 9, where they performed well enough to move onto the state competition in March. The Archers will compete on Sunday, March 1, at Ohio State for a chance to win the Division 6 state title. The squad is coached by Kelli Bradbury & Katie Scharr.
