The Lady Raiders took control of the court on February 15 when the Tinora Rams travelled to the Palace. This game was easily in control of the home team in the first half, so much so that it was not a problem to complete the 45-35 win even with the second half lacking in points for the Raiders. The game and the conference win was another big score for the Raiders now having their second title in a row and this is the sixth league title in school history and fourth outright championship.

The home girls team was very aggressive in this match in the first quarter. 3 point baskets, one after the other by Claire Sinn and Brook Sinn helped add to the score. The first half ended at 28-14.

In the last half of the game, the girls were still playing well, but the Rams outscored in both the 3rd and 4th periods. It was not a huge difference and didn’t hurt the Raiders but it could have. Sadie Sinn and Claire Sinn were also hot under the basket picking up rebounds and putting back up some shots.

This is also the second straight conference championship for head coach Bethany DeJarnett. Wayne Trace shared the league crown last season with Antwerp.
