The Archers powered off to an excellent start after they picked up the tipoff in the game against Liberty Center on Monday, January 4. Antwerp’s Joshua Longardner nailed shot after shot in the first few minutes of the game, hitting the first 6 points for the Archers and another two from the foul line. Brandon Pendergrast also posted 6 points in the first with Sam Williamson and Trey Mills both picking up two. The first quarter ended with Antwerp in the lead.

The second quarter was much closer as the Tigers held the Archers down with the majority of the points by J. Studer. The half finished with Antwerp in the lead 31-24.
