River Street Market in Antwerp will be celebrating its 2nd Anniversary the first of May. Many improvements have been done to the store.
In the first two years, we have accomplished so much. Gustoso Sweets has opened the bakery. What a great asset to the community! They accept custom orders and their amazing baked goods are available daily.
A rotisserie has been installed in the meat department that cooks baby back ribs and Wonder Roast Chicken. If you have not had the pleasure of tasting them, you are definitely missing out! Calling ahead and placing your order is recommended. We offer the Ohio Lottery and the full line of Lottery play available at the self service kiosk at the entrance. We have a wide variety of beer offered cold or off the shelf. Stop in to see our large selection of craft beers available in 6-packs or individual so you can try one to see if it is to your liking. We also have a wide variety of wine. If you do not see what you like, we always try to fill your request. All the beer and wine selections are offered at state minimum prices.
We are implementing a new Preferred Customer Program. It is simple — you provide us your email address and receive our store ad weekly along with sales only available to Preferred Customers.
You may also notice that our store hours have changed. New hours are 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily. The bakery hours have not changed. These and other changes are necessary for the store to remain a viable part of this community.
The staff at River Street Market are always looking to serve the customer better. Recently, with cooperation from our suppliers, we have been able to lower prices throughout the store. We always strive to keep the Market clean, fresh and friendly. We offer the highest quality meats and produce because we feel our customers deserve the best.
After the many improvements we have done, the Market is still under performing. We realize the big box stores have a larger selection and sometimes cheaper prices. What we are offering is a convenient and safe shopping experience with a familiar and friendly face. We are asking you to change your habits. Start asking yourself can I get that locally? If the answer is yes, then is it worth your time and gas to get it elsewhere?
