Line Dancing is a blast at the Festival with Treanna Bidlack, Kenzie Clemens, and Karen Cooper.

August always brings about the annual festival in Broughton. I talked with many people and there were people from Paulding, Van Wert, Antwerp, Payne, Oakwood and many more, who came out for the 9th year of this hoedown festival! There were many people enjoying the food at the town hall, sharing in the fellowship of good hometown food after the honoring of the veterans.

The event was fun for all ages. There were inflatables including a rock wall along with a bounce house. The kids had a lot of fun when they got their faces painted near the back side of the food hall.

By 7 pm the Dale Vaghn band was starting up following Morgan Bland, the beloved fiddle player from Hicksville. Once the music started friends and family began dancing in front of the stage.

For the young people there were balloon animals, crafts, face painting and fun Inflatables.
Robin Dobbelaere, Kathy Sanderson, and a host of others worked hard to make the Broughton Redneck Jamboree a huge success.
