Norma Lee Hodge

Norma Lee Hodge, age 79, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at her residence.

She was born December 23, 1934 in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of John W. and Phrona (Eaches) Marlow. On April 14, 1969 she married Ronald Charles Hodge, who preceded her in death on December 13, 1995. She served as Mayor of Melrose, Ohio from 1994 – 1997. She was a member of the Mayor’s Association of Paulding County, Ohio; and a life member of New Haven, Indiana Moose Lodge #1480.

Norma is survived by a son, Charles (Peggy) Graves, Van Wert; a daughter, Chauvonne (Sam) Tolley, Clovis, New Mexico; a stepdaughter, Pamela Hill, Harding, Texas; a brother, Dent Flemmings, Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Margaret Long, West Portsmouth, Ohio; seven grandchildren: Charles Jr., David, Jeannie, Samuel, Heather, Holly and James; and five great grandchildren: Charles, Thomas, Nichols, William and William.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Duane and David Graves; a daughter, Tara Hodge; two brothers, James and Jack Flemmings; and two sisters, Gertrude Fyffe, and Mary Kathryn Deamicis.

Funeral services will be conducted 12 Noon Saturday, February 15 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding.

Visitation will be 10 AM until time of services on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials made to the Norma L. Hodge Family.
