Think-A-Thon 2026: A Huge Success!

This year, our annual countywide celebration of gifted thinking and collaboration was proudly hosted at Oakwood Elementary. Fifth-grade gifted students from across Paulding County came together for a full day of creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. It was truly a “field day for the mind”! 

From tackling Plexors and analogies to cracking codes, building structures, and racing through memory relays, students stretched their thinking in every direction. The sixth-grade GATE mentors from Oakwood Elementary helped lead the way, building leadership skills while supporting their younger peers.

Events like our Think-A-Thon remind us how powerful it is for learners to connect, collaborate, and celebrate their unique strengths.
