Before I get into racing. Football fans, The Ohio Sports Blitz Scoreboard starts Thursday, August 20th and continues every Friday night after starting at 10:20PM. It’s the largest Scoreboard in N.W. Ohio, covering the area teams and expanding out to 28 Ohio High School Football Conferences. State and National Top 10 scores will be announced. You can access the Scoreboard on the Ohio Sports Blitz Facebook page www.facebook.com/ohiosportsblitz and on youtube. Last year the Scoreboard averaged over 8,000 views every Friday night.

Friday, July 31, Limaland Motorsports Park-The 2026 regular racing season came to an end at Limaland. It was a weather shortened spring and summer season. Season Champions were crowned and season points are over, but the track still has one more Friday night of racing. Congratulations to the 2026 Track Champions, UMP Modifieds Jeff Koz and Thunderstocks Jordan Conover.

Friday night Limaland Podiums: UMP Modifieds 1st Jeff Koz, 2nd Drew Charlson and 3rd Eric Kinney II. Thunderstocks 1st Todd Sherman, 2nd Jeff Matheny, and 3rd Jordon Conover. Dirt Track Trucks Feature winner was Chris Hicks led wire to wire in the Series 100th Feature event.

Attica Raceway Park 410 Winged Sprints, Feature Winner, Cap Henry, DIRTcar Late Models Kyle Moore, 305 Winged Sprints Bryan Sebetto. Attica Raceway Park will have no racing on Friday, August 14th because of the County Fair. Many of their 410 Winged Sprint Car drivers will also be at the 65th Annual Knoxville Nationals, August 12th-15th. Racing will return to Attica Raceway Park Friday, August 21st (same night high school football starts).

On Saturday, August 1st, Flat Rock Speedway dodged the weather and help their racing program. Feature winners: Figure 8 Jeremy Vanderhoof, Outlaw Super Later Models Conner, and ARCA Menards East Sunbelt Rentals 150, Max Reaves.

Saturday, August 1st, Tri-State Speedway-Kyle Cummins won the 2026 USAC Indiana Sprint Week Championship by 7 points over Justin Grant. Six drivers reached Victory Lane in the 9 track series. Grant had 3 wins and Kyle Cummins had 2. Prize money was increased from $8,000.00 to $10,000.00 this year for Feature wins and Cummins was awarded $25,000.00 for winning the Championship. How big was the 2026 Indiana Sprint Week. 97 drivers participated. The most since 2004. Drivers hailing from 16 different states Indiana (55), California (11), Arizona (4), Texas (4), Illinois (3), Missouri (3), Ohio (3), Colorado (2), Pennsylvania (2), Alabama (1), Kansas (1), Kentucky (1), Michigan (1), New Mexico (1), Oklahoma (1), and Washington (1), plus three more from Australia: Victoria (2) and New South Wales (1).

This week I was asked to help with the announcing duties at Oakshade Raceway in Wauseon. I look forward to seeing some of you and talk racing. The DIRTcar Late Models, Sportsmen, Dominator Stocks and Compacts will all be in action Saturday. Until next week, keep your wheels down. Ron Out!
