Prayer Night at Defiance Christian Academy

On Thursday, July 30th, members of the Defiance Christian Academy board, staff, families, Defiance Christian Church leadership, and community members gathered at the school campus to dedicate the school year to the Lord in prayer. 

The group split into smaller groups and walked between the classrooms and office, led by the school staff in guided prayer. Adults and children alike were part of the event. 

The evening opened with a meditation from board member, Pastor Sam Andres and a song. The evening ended with a song and a time of fellowship and snacks beside the school playground. 

Later in the evening, after the Prayer Night, the board made a social media announcement that funding has reached the level that families will not need to pay the “bridge fee” while they wait for state funding to come into effect. This makes the school very affordable for all families to enjoy. 

Defiance Christian Academy will begin the school year on August 19th and has a principal and 5 teachers on staff for grades K-6. Defiance Christian Academy is still accepting enrollment for the 26/27 school year.
