Dr. Shaun Matako speaks to Kiwanis

This week, the Kiwanis Club welcomed community members to attend a special meeting focused on outreach and engagement. The featured speaker, Dr. Shaun Matako—former Paulding Kiwanis Club member and now pastor at Whipple Avenue Baptist Church in Canton, Ohio—shared the history, purpose, and impact of Kiwanis.

Dr. Matako spoke about the organization’s ongoing commitment to serving children and strengthening communities through service, leadership, and volunteerism. His remarks highlighted the meaningful ways Kiwanis continues to make a difference locally and around the world.

Community members in attendance had the opportunity to learn more about the organization and how they can get involved. The Kiwanis Club welcomes anyone interested in making a positive impact to attend an upcoming meeting and explore membership opportunities.
