DO THIS IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME

In today’s society, it’s become so easy to forget where we came from and how we got to where we are. We have such great lives. I know some would disagree, but I pray that you would draw nearer to Jesus Christ and experience the wonderful life of living every day in remembrance of Christ and what He did for us. Remembering His broken body and the precious blood is not just for communion. It should reside in our hearts daily.    

This call to remembrance invites believers to reflect on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. It serves as a reminder of the values He embodied—love, sacrifice, and forgiveness. Observing this command can take many forms, from participating in communal worship to personal reflection and prayer. 

When believers gather to share bread and wine, they not only honor the Last Supper but also strengthen their faith community. The act becomes a powerful reminder of the covenant between God and humanity, symbolizing hope and redemption.

In a broader sense, the phrase encourages us to remember Jesus’ lessons and teachings in our everyday lives. It serves as a call to action—urging us to live by His example and foster compassion and kindness toward others. 

Ultimately, this phrase is about maintaining a connection with faith, reflecting on our personal beliefs, and acting in ways that align with the teachings of Jesus. It’s an invitation to continuously engage with Christ and to keep the essence of His teachings alive in the world today.
