The Paulding Area Chamber of Commerce is preparing for a busy second half of 2026.
Interviews for the Chamber’s next executive director began July 27, but interested applicants are encouraged to continue submitting applications. The position will remain open until filled as the Chamber works to identify the right person to lead the organization into its next chapter.
Position information and applications are available at https://bit.ly/PauldingChamberDirector.
The Chamber is also celebrating a milestone after reaching 3,000 Facebook followers. Every follow, share and comment helps local businesses, events and community stories reach more people.
The “Planted in Paulding” Annual Banquet is scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, at Grant’s Catering in Antwerp. Social hour begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m., the Dessert Dash and awards.
The Chamber is seeking nominations for the Legacy Award, Business Professional of the Year, Young Business Professional of the Year and Golden Shovel Awards. Banquet registration and nomination forms are available at https://www.pauldingchamber.com/Annual-Banquet.
Registration is also open for the free NextGen Artists Workshop and Marketplace for Paulding County students in grades K–12. The workshop will be held September 26 at the PC Opportunity Center, followed by the marketplace November 21 during Shop the Village. Registration closes September 5.

The Chamber is also inviting the community to travel with Collette again. Travelers from the Shades of Ireland trip returned in early July with enthusiastic reviews of Collette’s customer service and well-organized tours.
The next trip, Canyon Country, is scheduled for April 9–16, 2027. The eight-day tour includes Scottsdale, Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park and Las Vegas. Travelers who book by October 9 can save $200 per person.
