Carter and Estle speak to the Kiwanis

Members of the Paulding Kiwanis Club were treated to a virtual journey through the Mediterranean during this week’s program, as presenters Debbie Carter and Cheri Estle shared highlights from what they described as the trip of a lifetime.

Invited by fellow Kiwanian George Carter, the presenters recounted their recent Mediterranean cruise, taking members on a visual tour of some of Europe’s most iconic destinations. Their presentation included visits to the Vatican, Naples, Pompeii, Athens, Rome, and the island of Crete, Greece.

Through photos and personal stories, Carter and Estle highlighted the region’s rich history, stunning architecture, and world-renowned artwork, including masterpieces by Michelangelo. They also shared memorable experiences such as a two-hour golf cart tour through the streets of Rome and a culinary tour featuring the local flavors of Crete.

The presenters expressed their appreciation to Casey Schwartz of Happy Travel for coordinating the travel arrangements that helped make the unforgettable journey possible.

The Paulding Kiwanis Club meets weekly and welcomes programs that educate, inspire, and connect members with experiences from around the world while remaining dedicated to serving the children and families of Paulding County.
