Amrize Celebrates 70 Years in Paulding County

On May 15, 2026, Amrize (formerly Holcim) hosted an Open House at their facility on Rd 176 in rural Paulding. At this all day event, facility administrators gave tours of the quarry, demonstrating the planning and operations of harvesting the minerals for cement products, etc. including a controlled explosion. The event began with a Ribbon Cutting to commemorate the 70 years of operations in Paulding County and officially announcing Amrize as the current company owners.
