Antwerp Police Reports

On May 2, a manager of a local business reported that a man was acting strange in their business. The officer came and assisted with telling the man to stay out of the business.

On May 3, a resident of E. River St. reported that she was being harassed by her neighbor. Both she and the neighbor were spoken to by police and a report was prepared.

On May 3, a resident of Main St. requested that officers unlock their car. Officers assisted with unlocking their car.

On May 3, Antwerp Police Dept. received a call about possible drug activity at a local residence. 

On May 3, a resident of E. River St. reported that he was threatened by a man in Payne. A report was prepared and sent to county prosecutor.

On May 4, Antwerp Police Dept. received a report of a man and woman fighting on N. Main St. When the officer arrived at the location, they contacted the county sheriff’s office to assist.

On May 5, a resident reported the theft of wooden beams from her residence. A report was prepared.

On May 9, a theft of a cellphone was reported from the day before at the Antwerp track. Officer investigated and located the phone in Payne, OH. A report was prepared.

On May 11, a tree was reported cracked and about to fall over. An officer responded and forwarded information to the village administrator.

On May 11, while patrolling, an officer saw a juvenile running from a building on Archer Dr. Officer checked the building, didn’t find any damage. They located the juveniles and spoke to them.

On May 11, a resident of Island St. called and requested help with locating their dogs. As an officer was responding, the dogs were located.

On May 11, Antwerp Police Dept. received a call in reference to a child custody issue. Officer filed a report for the complaint.

On May 11, Antwerp Police Dept. received a call of a toddler running on the sidewalk on N. Main Street. As caller was speaking to the officer, the father was seen retrieving child.

On May 11, an officer was called to a residence at Frank Leinard’s. The caller was concerned that someone was in their shed. Officer checked and everything appeared to be okay.

On May 14, a domestic dispute at North Garden Apartments was reported. An officer responded and prepared a report. The case was investigated and the report forwarded to county prosecutor.
