Friday Night Lights: old school rivals – Paulding Panthers and Wayne Trace Raiders came head to head for the traditional high school football game, the Black Swamp Bowl on October 20, 2023. This game started neck and neck with touchdown on both sides in the first quarter. Panthers added 8 more points in the 3rd taking the score to 7-14 Paulding. Raiders rallied in the last quarter but it wasn’t enough to out score Paulding. When time was called, Paulding stood with a 1 point lead, naming them 2023 Black Swamp Bowl champs. This leads Paulding into the playoffs which are Friday, October 27th at Bluffton High School.
