Henry took the lead from Chris Andrews on lap 12 and ran perfectly through lapped traffic in the 410 Sprint A-main that went 30 laps non-stop to record his 16th career victory at Attica Raceway Park. There are only two races remaining in the All-Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads/Kistler Racing Products Attica Fremont Championship Series.  Henry’s win puts him in position to claim his second series title. He now has eight total 410 wins in 2023 having also scored four at Fremont Speedway. Finishing behind Henry was 2nd Chris Andrews, 3rd Byron Reed, 4th Tyler Gunn, and 5th DJ Foos.

In Attica Late Model Action, Devin Shiels, 4-time track champion, led all 25 laps of the feature but it wasn’t an easy victory. A pair of former track champions, Ryan Markham, and Ryan Missler put the pressure on Shiels several times but couldn’t pass the veteran driver. This was Shiels 3rd straight victory at Attica and the 19th of his career at the track. Ryan Missler was 2nd followed by 3rd Ryan Markham, Justin Chance 4th and Kyle Moore 5th .

John Ivy led the first three laps of the 305 Sprint feature, with Kasey Jedrzejek moving through traffic from eighth to lead laps 4 through 7, then Jamie Miller took over. Miller built a 5.5 second lead with 8 laps to go when a multi-car pile-up brought out the red. It didn’t slow the three-time Attica track champion down as he blasted away on the high side of the track to score his 39th career division win over 2nd Dust Stroup, 3rd Kasey Jedrzejek, 4th Bryan Sebetto, and 5th Dustin Dinan.

Last Monday in the 305 Sprint feature, Paul Weaver, 56, of Fremont, Ohio only lives a few blocks from the speedway, earned his 77th career feature win at “The Track That Action Built.” Weaver’s 6th victory of the year and 4th in a row on Fremont Fence Night catapulted him over long-time win list leader the legendary Art Ball. DJ Foos is back racing after being severely burned in April and led the first 18 laps of the 30-lap feature. Weaver, started 5th, would work his way to the lead on lap 19 and had to fight off a late race challenge from Zeth Sabo on a restart to win. Former 410 sprint track champion Bryan Sebetto came on very strong at the end of the race to place 2nd and DJ Foos managed to get 3rd fight his way through lapped traffic.
