Hands of Hope new ultrasound machine

Pictured at the blessing of the new machine is (L-R) Ann Walker (Board member), Fr. Ammanniti, Chris Bercaw, and Rita Diaz (Ultrasound nurse).

Hands of Hope Pregnancy Services is thrilled to be utilizing a brand new ultrasound machine.

The previous machine is close to 10 years old. While still great quality, the board of directors decided to purchase a new one after being approached by Chris Bercaw. Bercaw is a Paulding County resident, and also the Knights of Columbus Respect Life Director for Ohio.

The Knights of Columbus was able to get a grant to the clinic to cover half the costs of the new machine. The previous machine has served the community well, so the decision was made to get the newest version of the same machine. Through Chris Bercaw’s coordination, the previous machine will be donated to a similar clinic in Columbus who is in need of an ultrasound machine.

The staff and board are excited that the ultrasound machine will be able to bless another community. Hands of Hope would like to give shout out to Chris Bercaw and the Knights of Columbus for this amazing gift. The machine has already been used to show the miracle of life, much to the excitement of the nurses.
