The Ribbon Cutting & 50th Anniversary Celebration for the Woodburn Christian Children’s Home took place Saturday, April 29th. It was a wonderfully overwhelming experience for everyone in attendance! The ribbon cutting time was actually an unveiling of the mural that had been painted on the wall of the recreation gym at the new Learning and Counseling Center at the Home’s property on Notestine Rd.

There were approximately 750 in attendance that morning to share in this dedication and celebrate 50 years of ministry to children in need. When the veil dropped to reveal the mural, attendees’ emotional responses ranged from shock to awe to overwhelming love for the ministry of Woodburn Christian Children’s Home. The entire project o the Learning and Counseling Center along with the entire WCCH campus is fully funded by private donors — both individual and corporate. This new building through Christ’s blessings will be changing the lives of children for generations to come! Strong and Courageous Capital Campaign runs through 2024. Thanks to all of the donors who support Woodburn Christian Children’s Home and the message of their mission.
