Paulding Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting for Elecia & Brandon Wobler, owners of Keepsake Beads by EAW & Boutique on the square in Paulding, OH (101 W Perry Street, Paulding, Ohio) on April 25, 2023. The ribbon cutting and open house was for the premiere of their newest addition to the Boutique — The Salt Cave.

The Salt Cave offers Halotherapy and Dry Salt Inhalation as well as Light therapy. With a negative ion machine, the salt particles in the room are broken down to be absorbed into your skin. This Himalayan salt has approximately 84 minerals that can be absorbed through the skin. Nourishing your body as you relax and breathe deeply — sounds enticing, right? And it doesn’t dry out the skin as one would think, the minerals in the salt actually attract moisture to the skin. There are many benefits of Himalayan salt — naturally anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory as well as lends a hand with the following: eczema and psoriasis, mood boosting and energy boosting, may alleviate insomnia, stress, and seasonal affective disorder, may improve breathing and lung function, may enhance mental focus, cleans and purifies the surrounding air, may reduce asthma symptoms, resistance to airborne allergies, may improve sleep, detoxification, weight loss, may improve circulation, may reduce blood pressure, provide relaxation, promote faster wound healing, and provide relief from muscle aches… and so much more!

Inside the Salt Cave — serene and relaxing ambience for the guests’ enjoyment.

Owner Elecia Wobler explains the halotherapy of the The Salt Cave, “Salt particles below 3 microns penetrate the skin and the mucous membrane and speed up the lymphatic flow. This activates metabolism and expulsion of toxins. The quantum-energetic salt room can also be used for detoxification because it helps to clear the body from accumulated poisons. Salt rooms and infrared radiation strengthen the immune system. The salt cave is amazing!”
