ANTWERP POLICE REPORTS

On August 12th,  an officer went to resident in the county to recover a bicycle that was stolen from village. The bicycle was returned to the owner and charges were filed against the adult who stole it.  

On August 12th,  a resident of North Garden Apartments reported that he had some items stolen from the back of his truck

On August 13th,  officers assisted with a motor cycle parade through the Village of Antwerp to VFW

On August 13th,  officers assisted the Antwerp Chamber with Day in the Park parade

On August 14th, a vehicle was stopped for failing to stop for the stop sign at Kroos and Canal. The driver cited for a stop sign violation and driving under suspension

On August 15th,  a credit card was give to the police department that had been located in village. The owner was located and the card was returned

On August 16th,  a resident of Woodcox St reported that she had been scammed and given out her personal information and wanted to file a reported

On August 16th,  a resident reported that someone had opened a credit card in her name and had charged approximately $4000. She said she had already contacted the card company and wanted to make a police report

On August 17th,  Antwerp Police Department was contacted in reference to an individual that was possibly suicidal. Officer responded, contacted family members and the individual was taken to hospital 

ON August 18th,  officers assisted detectives with the Montpelier Police Department with an alleged sex abuse case that had occurred several years earlier

On August 19th,  a resident of S. Erie St came to the police department and reported that his neighbor had cut the edge of his lawn

On August 19th,  a resident was arrested on a warrant and transported to the Paulding County Jail

On August 20th,  officers were requested to come to a local business because two employees had gotten into fist fight. One employee was arrested the other employee was later charged with assault

ON August 23rd,  A resident of S. Erie St. reported earlier that morning a resident of Buffalo had been playing their music loud. Officers went to resident where the alleged music was coming from. They did not hear any loud music, however, they spoke to resident and requested that he not play his music loud and that it is a violation and explained he could be cited.
