Panthers fall in sectional finals to Rams

The high school volleyball season came to a close for the Paulding Lady Panthers on Wednesday as the maroon and white fell in straight sets to host Tinora in Division III sectional final action.

The green and white posted a 25-14 win in the opening set before following that up with a 25-15 victory in game two. Tinora then closed out the match with a 25-12 win in the third set.

Claire Schweller dished out a dozen assists and added eight digs along with a pair of kills for the Panthers with Janae Pease picking up 13 digs and serving an ace.

Katie Beckman also had five slams along with two assists and an ace for Paulding while Jocelyn Parrett totaled three kills, two aces and ten digs.

Paulding closes the year with an overall record of 6-16 while going 1-6 in Green Meadows Conference play.
