Paulding FFA Assistant Reporter

Since December we have had several members working on degrees as well as FFA officer books for the evaluation process. These members have been through several evaluations to obtain their State degree, American degree and FFA Officer Book ratings. We are happy to announce that the evaluation process is over for 2021 at the state level. The officer books were evaluated and they all received a Gold Rating, the highest rating a book can receive. This is the fourth straight year in a row that Paulding FFA officer books received a Triple Crown (3 Gold’s).There was many hours of preparation and organization to meet this rating. We would like to congratulate the following officers on this huge accomplishment as well as their assistants.  This year’s treasurer is Colton Howell and his assistant is Carter Manz. Baylee March is our current secretary and the reporter is Hailey Weidenhamer with assistant Mason Schlatter. Next are the State FFA degree recipients. The state FFA degree is the highest degree a state can bestow onto its members. This year Paulding has 7 members who met the requirements to receive their state degree at the State FFA Convention in May held virtually this year. Congratulations to the following members: Kyle Harris, Isaac Smalley, Baylee March, Jalynn Parrett, Kyle Mobley, Jaylyn McCloud and Ben Weible. We had 5 FFA members apply for their American FFA degree and they were all approved to move onto the National evaluation process during summer. We will wait until the results from Nationals are released to announce those candidates. We are so proud of the accomplishments of our members throughout the year. Together we can work together to accomplish our goals!
