Pictured is our local seamstress and crochet expert, Mrs. Ruth Ann Witt. Ruth also enjoys playing Bingo and was very excited when she earned her 100th Bingo Buck! When asked how she wanted to spend her “bucks” Ruth thought a sewing machine would be a good investment. Now Ruth can not only crochet in her apartment, but she can sew using her new machine. So far Ruth has crocheted quite a collection of American Girl Doll clothes. She often uses patterns but sometimes does her own designing. Ruth is holding an American Girl Doll dressed in one of her latest designs. Her crocheted doll clothes are for sale here in Antwerp at &Junque, located at 3982 Road 192.
Also pictured is Mrs. Mary Ellen Walk. Mary Ellen has shared her beloved button collection with the residents. These buttons have drawn great interest here at Antwerp Manor and have been a wonderful source of entertainment. Many crafts have been created using Mary Ellen’s button collection.
