Holtsberry Presents Wall of Honor

Paulding County Commissioner Mark Holtsberry announced the new and updated list of veterans for the Wall of Honor of all those who served and died during conflict from Paulding County.

Mark Holtsberry has worked tirelessly over the years to collect data on veterans in Paulding County. He has books that he has written to commemorate and recognize those who sacrificed everything for their county. A few years ago Mark put up the board in the courthouse that is next to the entry deputy’s desk. It was pointed out to him of an error and then found several others that had names wrong or just new information had come about. The new board has been finished now and installed. It was computer designed by Paulding resident, Ashley Snipes, while she was doing her internship at West Bend Printing and Publishing, Inc.

People who come into the courthouse are greeted with the memoriam to these veterans, which is placed on the opposite side of the hall of the veterans pictorial board from the Bicentennial commemoration. Stop in and take a look at the Paulding County Courthouse with all 24 boards of history placed on the walls!
