RICHARD ROSEVINK Anthony Wayne Sub Legion Rifleman — FORT DEFIANCE 2019 225th ANNIV. OF THE BATTLE OF FALLEN TIMBERS

RICHARD ROSEVINK Anthony Wayne SubLegion Rifleman – FORT DEFIANCE 2019 225th ANNIV. OF THE BATTLE OF FALLEN TIMBERS

Pictured is Richard Rosevink of Defiance, Ohio who is in costume as one of Anthony Wayne’s “Sub Legion Riflemen”, This picture was taken at the 225’ Anniv, of the Battle of Fallen Timbers tour in 2019 from Defiance out to the Battle site and other historical sites. The confluence of the Maumee and Auglaize Rivers is shown in the background and the foundation of “Fort Defiance” by the United States flag.

Richard Rosevink is a familiar figure in the Defiance area as he is very active with the Historical Society, is an officer at the Tuttle Museum, is a member of the Defiance Genealogical Society and much, much more. He has authored many historical fact- filled area items that may be purchased at the Tuttle Museum (if you are lucky).

This dedicated person is what every historical society or history-minded city/town should have. He is helpful, knowledgeable and looks great in costume on this Flag Day of 2020 as well as he did in 2019,
