Operation Round Up is a community service program that provides funding for charitable and benevolent purposes for individuals, families and organizations in our community. This program allows Paulding Putnam Electric members the opportunity to make a big impact on many lives for just pennies!

Operation Round Up Board Chair Jane Nice presents a $2,500 check to President Clint Vance of Paulding County Habitat for Humanity. “After discussing this grant with our board; Laurie Lucas, our executive director and I sat down to complete the grant” Vance explains. “A couple weeks later, I received a phone call from Renee Boss stating we have been awarded the full amount. I could not tell her thank you enough” stated Vance. The funds will go toward a Grover Hill home build for an elderly man in need of assistance. “We started a “Bucks for Boards” campaign to raise money to ultimately lower the final mortgage amount for this gentleman. This grant will go directly in helping to do that” noted Vance.

Along with the “Bucks for Boards” campaign; these entities have played a huge role in this home build by either donating materials or time: R&L Truss, Owens Corning, Carter Lumber, Vantage Career Center – Construction and Electrical classes, and the Paulding County Land Bank.

“We are humbled by the outpouring of support from our community with this home build. We look forward to sharing this home with the community at its dedication in the Spring” says Vance.
