Vantage Students in a Season of Giving

Vantage students and staff raised over $3,600.00 to purchase and donate toys for the local Toss A Toy project in partnership with Lee Kinstle GM Sales and Service.

Christmastime will be much merrier for local children of families in need as Vantage Career Center’s Interact students held several fundraisers, raising over $3,600.00 to go toward the annual Toss A Toy event. Fundraisers included a $1.00 jeans day, $1.00 ugly Christmas sweater contest, classroom Christmas carolers with the option of Grinch Insurance, and a change stall. With the collected funds, students and advisors organized a field trip to Wal-mart where they purchased 3 truckloads of toys for local families and children in need. A very special thanks to Van Wert Wal-Mart and Lee Kinstle GM Sales and Service who provided transportation of the toys to the Salvation Army.

The Vantage Interact club is a student led club that encourages leadership and responsibility, promotes student collaboration among various labs and home-schools, and supports student civic involvement to benefit our communities.
