ENTER THE WORLD OF MOTHER GOOSE

Little Bo Peep, Vicki Wilhelm Library Clerk, has lost her sheep. Come to the Library Tuesday October 8, 6:00 p.m. and help Little Bo Peep find her sheep.

The Paulding County Carnegie Library Children’s Room is proud  to present the 2019 Fall Extravaganza, Tuesday, October 8 beginning at 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Enter The World of Mother Goose”

Many myths surround her and her world depending on what country you happen to live in. American legend according to Eleanor Early, a Bostonian travel and history writer from the 1930’s & 40’s, relates that Mary Goose used to sing songs to her grandchildren all day and other nearby children flocked to hear them. She wrote them down…her son-in-law gathered them up and had them printed.

Meet and greet the library’s own Mother Goose, the legendary author of fairy tales and nursery rhymes. Then introduce your children and grandchildren to these whimsical characters from YOUR past. Humpty Dumpty, Little Miss Muffet, Little Boy Blue, Little Bo Peep and many more.

Games, prizes, food, face-painting and lots of fun await you at Your Library.
