The 2019 Harlan Days commenced this past weekend to much fanfare as the Parade culminated the weekend on Saturday, August 3rd. Many floats, organizations, politicians, and the Grand Marshal and Citizen of the Year were involved in the parade. The kids had a great time on all the rides, and clearly it was easy to eat too much!

On Sunday, August 4 the Harlan High School Reunion took place at Grant’s Reception Hall in Antwerp, Ohio. This weekend the beloved Class of 1942, Nellie Beerbower passed away, not able to make it to the Harlan High School Class reunion. The new top dog at the reunion was Gerald Ringenberg also of the class of 1942, age 96.
