Earlier this year, the Antwerp Police Department received a grant from the Cooper Foundation for the purchase of a golf cart. The golf cart is used in the daily operations of the police department, in addition to special events. The cart also has been utilized by the Village of Oakwood during its Labor Day Festival, and is also going to be used by the Paulding Police Department for an upcoming event. Chief Clemens is very appreciative to the Cooper Foundation not only for the grant that allowed his agency to purchase the golf cart, but for the many contributions that the Cooper Foundation makes to local organizations each year.
