Local School District leaders to address premier education conference

Superintendent Dr. Martin Miller, Treasurer Kristine Stuart, and IT Director Harold Gottke from the Antwerp Local School District, will speak at the 63rd annual Ohio School Boards Association Capital Conference and Trade Show Nov. 11-13 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.   

The Antwerp Administrators and other educational leaders and experts will speak during the event. The leadership team from Antwerp Local Schools will speak on the topic of “The Electrifying Benefits of a Solar Powered School Building”.

More than 9,000 people are expected to attend this year’s conference, which features more than 150 sessions of panel discussions, workshops, one-on-one assistance and nationally renowned speakers addressing a variety of educational issues. 

Keynote speakers at the 2018 Capital Conference include Academy Award-winning actress Geena Davis (“Thelma & Louise”) and millennial thought leader and venture capitalist Alex Banayan, one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 and Business Insider’s Most Powerful People Under 30.
