ALLOWANCE OF CLAIMS

Warrants documented as 245683 through 245751 for County Bills were approved and certified to the County Auditor for payment.

IN THE MATTER OF AMENDING THE 2018 ANNUAL APPROPRIATION (FUND 226)

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners does hereby direct the County Auditor to amend the 2018 Annual Appropriation by appropriating the following in the OSU Extension Fund (Fund 226), to-wit; 226-001-99990/OSU Extension/Real Estate Fees AMOUNT: $1168.65

IN THE MATTER OF AMENDING THE 2018 ANNUAL APPROPRIATION (FUND 226)

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners does hereby direct the County Auditor to amend the 2018 Annual Appropriation by appropriating the following in the OSU Extension Fund (Fund 226), to-wit; 226-001-00001/OSU Extension/Settlement AMOUNT: $141.16

IN THE MATTER OF AMENDING THE 2018 ANNUAL APPROPRIATION (FUND 065)

IN THE MATTER OF THE APPOINTMENT OF A MEMBER OF THE PAULDING COUNTY A MEMBER OF THE PAULDING COUNTY LAW LIBRARY RESOURCES BOARD 

WHEREAS, Section 307.511(A)(4) of the Ohio Revised Code requires that the Board of County Commissioners shall appoint one member of the County Law Library Resources Board who is an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and a resident of the County;

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that SHANE LEE, a resident of Paulding County and an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio, be and hereby is appointed as a member of the Paulding County Law Library Resources Board; and

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the term of aforesaid appointment shall commence January 1, 2019 and shall expire on December 31, 2023.

IN THE MATTER OF MODIFYING THE 2018 ANNUAL APPROPRIATION (FUND 041)

RESOLUTION – ORDER FIXING TIME OF FINAL HEARING ON ENGINEER’S REPORTS ON ESTIMATED ASSESSMENTS ON THE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT AND ON CLAIMS FOR COMPENSATION AND DAMAGES

In the Matter of the Eagle-Creek Wilson Single County Ditch No. 26 Petitioned for by George Hunt

WHEREAS, on the 1st day of October, 2018 the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners approved a Fixing of Time of Final Hearing on Engineer’s Reports on Estimated Assessments on the Proceedings for the Improvement and on Claims for Compensation and Damages in the matter of the Eagle-Creek Wilson ditch; and

BE IT RESOLVED, that the 6th day of August, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. is hereby fixed as the time for filing with the Clerk of the County Commissioners all of the maps, profiles, schedules, and reports prepared by the County Engineer; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the15th day of October, 2018, at 9:00 o’clock a.m. at the Auglaize Township Firehouse, 21050 SR 637, Oakwood is hereby fixed as the time and place for the final hearing on said reports, and schedules, on estimated assessments, on the proceedings for the improvement, and on claims for compensation or damages, which claims must be filed with the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners before that date; and be it further

RESOLVED, that notice of the hearing shall be given as required by law.

IN THE MATTER OF APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE PAULDING COUNTY VISION BOARD

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners does hereby appoint Deedi Miller as a member of the Paulding County Vision Board, effective this 1st day of October, 2018.

Meeting Notes of Appointments

• Travis McGarvey, Engineer and Aaron Timm, Engineer Superintendent – Mr. Timm briefly met with the Commissioners to discuss the radio system.

• Sandy Kessler, MVPO – Ms. Kessler met with the Commissioners to discuss funding options for Grover Hill to see if it’s possible to move forward with critical infrastructure.  The critical infrastructure program next round is due November 16,, 2018.  Maumee Valley is dedicated to serving your communities.  Ms. Kessler explained that they are working on a Community Development Implementation Strategy for villages and townships with a survey package that will be forthcoming.
