Take Me Home Country Roads: 2018 Oakwood Homecoming

Blast from the Past! Oakwood Homecoming Skit – 2013!

The 99th Oakwood Homecoming is set for Labor Day weekend, September 1-3! Even though times have changed, those Country Roads can still take us home! It may be different, but it’s home! Remember when you knew everyone in Oakwood? How many do you know now? Thirty years ago there were 6-7 Little League teams, now only 2. The point is, Oakwood is different in many ways. Towns all over the country, both big and small, are changing and trying to keep their hometown festivals going. Each year it is harder, but with so many great volunteers the Homecoming will live to celebrate its 100th next year! Will you be there to help? It takes a village… to keep the village traditions alive! Come celebrate the Homecoming! Remember the past, but look to the future. Greet old friends and make new ones! Enjoy all the events packed into the 3 days! And look out for next year!! Plan now to get involved!
