The Paulding FFA Officer team traveled to Peebles, Ohio on Monday, August 6th for their annual FFA Officer retreat. The officer team is made up of President Kalyn Strahley, Vice President Courtney Luderman, Secretary Jordyn Merriman, Treasurer Jen Stahl, Reporter Sydney Reineck, Sentinel Shannon Hale, Student Advisor Riley Noffsinger, and Parliamentarian Emma Horstman along with Ag Education Teacher and FFA advisor Staci Miller and FFA advisor Jackie Mosier.

The team spent three days planning their yearly calendar, Program of Activities (POA) and budget. They developed closer relationships through team building games and activities. They developed goals for themselves and for the chapter for the upcoming year. They also reflected on what FFA had done for them. One afternoon, they traveled to the nearby Shawnee State Park where they went canoeing. That evening the officers continued their discussion of goals for the upcoming year. On Wednesday, the team finished up their retreat by discussing what they learned from the retreat, and what they enjoyed from their trip.

The team is ready for another year of Agriculture Education, FFA, Career Development Events (CDEs), Supervised Agriculture Experiences (SAEs), and community service projects. They are also excited for the new students coming in and want to continue to grow the Paulding FFA Chapter!
