Upcoming Summer Reading Activities at the Payne Library

The Payne Library is rockin’ with activities for all ages this summer! Wednesday, June 27, at 2:00 p.m., the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo will visit the library for a “Story Safari!” This interactive program for preschoolers (age 4 to 5) includes a story reading and a visit with a friendly zoo animal. Registration is required in advance. 

Explore the rock cycle with Patrick Troyer of Paulding County Soil & Water Conservation on Friday, June 29, at 11:00 a.m. “Rock On!” is a hands-on program for children ages 7-11. No registration required. 

Stop by the library on Thursday, June 28, from 7:30 a.m..-.9:30.a.m., for a cup of Genesis House coffee and treat. The Chew Crew, our cooking club for kids, meets June 28 at 4:00 p.m.
